Truly Artisan-Made

Every GJD piece is made by hand, from start to finish. While I do take meticulous care and pride in my craft, this means there may occasionally be minor imperfections when compared to mass-produced, machine-made jewelry. If you're buying unique artisan jewelry, I hope you find those quirks charming. I will never sell anything that is structurally compromised. That being said, if you are not satisfied, review my return policy below. 

 

Care

I craft my pieces with 925 Sterling Silver, fine silver, occasionally copper. I include a small polishing cloth with each piece so that you can care for it over time. 

If another jeweler polishes your piece and damages it in the process, I cannot be held responsible for their work.

Know that all metals tarnish naturally over time, with your body chemistry contributing to the rate at which it tarnishes. Be sure to take your jewelry off before getting dirty, gardening, working out, showering, swimming, washing the dishes, etc. Store your jewelry in a cool, dry place.  

 

Sizing

Since my jewelry is one-of-a-kind, and most pieces are set with stones, I cannot resize your item and maintain the integrity and quality. I also cannot be held responsible for the work of another jeweler you may hire to resize my pieces.

If you are uncertain about your ring size, wrist size, or desired chain length, I urge you to visit a local jeweler, even Target or Walmart, to make sure you order the correct size. When sizing rings, try on an item similar in width to the piece you're considering.

For example, a thin size 8 ring band will fit differently than an extra thick size 8 band. When wearing thick ring bands, the size you need is likely to go up at least 1/2 size.

If you want to try a DIY route - and understand that this is not an exact science and have read our return policy - wrap a piece of dental floss around your finger and mark where the floss overlaps. Don’t make the floss too tight and make sure it will fit over your knuckles. Measure the length of the floss in millimeters to find your approximate ring size below.

Shipping

Orders shipping within the U.S. have two options.

Option #1 is preferred because it allows me to provide the highest level of customer service. USPS 2-Day Priority ships at a flat rate of $10. This rate includes insurance on your new jewelry. You will receive an email with your unique tracking number as soon as your package ships. 

Option #2 is also available. USPS First Class ships for free. This free shipping does not include insurance on your new jewelry, and for that reason is not my preferred method. The choice is yours, of course. You will receive an email with your unique tracking number as soon as your package ships. 

I cannot be responsible for delivery times once your shipment is delivered to the post office.

Outside the United States?  If you're shipping to a location outside the continental U.S., please contact me before you purchase your desired piece.

You will be invoiced your exact shipping cost. Most international priority shipments cost approximately $25 USD and arrive in 6-12 days. 

 

Returns

I do not process returns based on incorrect sizing or buyer’s remorse. Please know your ring size and your budget before ordering. See the Sizing Policy section above. If you're unsure of your ring size, visit a local jeweler, Target, or even Walmart. Most fine jewelers have ring sizers in various widths to account for different band sizes.

All returns must be preauthorized via email in order to be eligible for a refund. Contact me to receive your unique authorization code.

Returns are accepted only if the piece is completely unaltered, undamaged, untarnished, and includes all the original packaging components. The item must also be returned within 7 days of the original delivery date. You are responsible to pay return shipping costs and the return must include shipping insurance. 

Your refund amount is calculated minus a 20% restocking fee. 

No refunds are issued for lost or stolen packages. In that case, you must file a claim with the carrier and I will help in any way that I can. I insure every USPS Priority package and give you a unique tracking number. Note that packages shipped USPS First class are not insured.

No refunds are issued for custom work.

 

Custom Orders

You resonate with my work, my vibe, my witchy ways. You know you need [X} energy in your life, or you want something made with a particular stone, you're looking to activate a certain goddess / archetypal energy, etc.

I have a highly intuitive style of custom work that flows naturally from my successful coaching practice. I adore these collaborative conversations. Contact me and ask if I'm accepting custom orders at this time.

All custom orders require a non-refundable 50% deposit for me to begin the work. I will send an invoice and your first payment is due within 5 days of receipt. You can pay with PayPal, or a credit / debit card if you do not have a PayPal account. The remaining 50% is due when the piece is finished, after you approve it, and before I ship it.
